And here is our very first episode of Through the Palantir! Unfortunately, Ivaneus couldn't be with us for our premier episode, but he'll be joining us somewhere down the line. For the time being, however, it's just Drilorin and Matthrim.

Download Episode One here.
In this Episode we: Introduce you to two of our hosts, Matthrim and Drilorin; Discuss our plans for the podcast; and go over the Volume III Book 1 Patch notes.
Look for Episode 2 after the release of Oath of the Rangers. Also note that we have set up an RSS feed for the podcast and that there are links to our Facebook and Twitter pages up on the blog.
See you soon!

Good stuff guys, keep it coming!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting to have a new LOTRO podcast out there. Doc alerted me about your new show so I suspect to be listening to your first episode very soon! Welcome to the LOTRO Podcasters club!
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
ReplyDeleteHowever, please add a direct link to the episode mp3 file as an enclosure link when writing a post, so it can be correctly interpreted by RSS readers as a podcast (there is an option 'Add enclosure link' when writing a post on blogspot). In this way it can be picked up by media software (for example iTunes), downloaded and automatically synced on portable players.
Keep up!
I agree with lotroeu, if you can do something to make it easier for syncing with iTunes (or other players) that would be a huge help.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, syncing with iTunes is on the books and will be up by the next 'Cast.

Nice job guys! We’re looking forward to your coverage of some of the high-end content.
ReplyDeleteGreat name for a podcast too :)

I think I've got the feed working now. Tell me if it isn't.

Everything's fine now, syncing in iTunes :)
ReplyDeleteReally nice podcast, but I'm afraid you made a small mistake on the Guardian's "new" skill, as it upgrades Warrior's Heart, not Guardian's Pledge.
ReplyDeleteAnd a small suggestion, try to put some instrumental music on the background during the podcast.
Thanks for the correction. I don't know why either Pledge or Heart would need an upgrade but I can understand why they chose Heart over Thrill.
ReplyDeleteAs for music, it's definately something we're going to try but wether or not we decide to keep it is still unknown.
Great show, look forward to future shows!
ReplyDeleteThe download link here doesn't work. The streaming doesn't seem to work either.
ReplyDeleteJust fixed that, I'll see about the streaming now.
